A Pennsylvania Lottery Ticket Sold in Berks County has won $100,000 Prize

The Pennsylvania Lottery has recently shared the details of a $100,000 prize-winning that has been won in Berks County. Unfortunately, the winner of the $100,000 prize still hasn’t turned up to claim the prize money. Now the lottery officials are anxiously waiting that the player shows up and claims the $100,000 prize.

The lottery officials have revealed that the $100,000 prize-winning ticket sold in Berks County was for the Powerball Lottery game. The draw for the particular Powerball Lottery game was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

The numbers that were drawn out of the particular draw from March 24th were: 38-27-17-09-04. The red Powerball that was drawn for the particular draw was: 18.

The lucky ticket sold in Berks County was able to match 4 out of the 5 lucky numbers and the red Powerball. For doing so, the ticket was able to win $50,000 initially. However, the ticket had a Power Play option added to the ticket, which doubled the prize money and the player has won $100,000.

The lottery officials have confirmed that the store that sold the $100,000 prize-winning Powerball ticket is Exxon Mart. The Exxon Mart is located at 308 East Wyomissing Avenue (Mohnton). The Exxon Mart will also be receiving a $500 bonus commission for selling the Powerball jackpot prize-winning ticket.

The officials have confirmed that the winner of the $100,000 prize money was validated once the draw was held.

However, the winner of the prize money is yet to make an appearance or make contact with the lottery officials. Although it has been a few days since the draw has been held, yet the lottery officials want to meet the winner of the prize at the earliest.

There are several instances when the winners of huge prizes never turned up for their prizes. Or, if they turned up to claim the prize, it was after a year when the prize money had already been expired. The PA Lottery has made it official that the time period for the prize winners is 1 year from the draw date.

According to the lottery officials, the average time period for prize claims is 1-2 weeks. Most of the players turn up within a week’s time to claim their prize monies. However, if people do not turn up for more than, it is what raises the alarms for the lottery officials.

The Power Play option is available for any player who wishes to spend an extra dollar and add the option to it and has the potential to double or triple the price of the players.

Apart from the $100,000 prize-winning ticket, there are 31,400 more players that have won prizes from the particular draw.
