As always, the Florida Lottery is back with an announcement around the Mega Millions of prize winners. This time, it is not just one but two players who have been crowned as the millionaires playing the Mega Millions Lottery.
The lottery officials are excited as always to announce the names of the players and their details to honor them and they dedicated to the Florida Lottery.
The Florida Lottery officials are also congratulating the players for their astounding win and wish them the best of luck for their future endeavors.
The lottery team has revealed that both players are residents of Tampa. The name of the first player is Heriberto Reyes, who is a 47-year-old man from Lutz. The name of the second player is Robert Crabtree, who is a 36-year-old man from Largo.
The officials have revealed that both players went for the Mega Millions Lottery game powered by the Florida Lottery and each managed to win $2 million from different draws held in January 2021.
According to the reports, Heriberto Reyes had participated in January 19, 2021, Mega Millions Lottery draw. While Robert Crabtree had participated in the Mega Millions Lottery draw held on January 12, 2021.
Both players successfully deposited their winning tickets at the Tampa District Office’s dropbox.
The officials have revealed that from the respective draws, both players ended up matching the five lucky numbers on their tickets. However, they were not able to match the Mega ball numbers, which kept them from winning the jackpot prize.
The officials have also confirmed where each player had purchased their multi-million dollar prize-winning tickets from.
Reyes had purchased his $2 million Powerball prize-winning ticket from Publix, which is located at 16560 North Nebraska Avenue (Lutz). On the other hand, Crabtree had purchased his $2 million Powerball prize-winning ticket from MD Oriental Market, which is located at 7580 49th Street North (Pinellas Park).
The officials have confirmed that both stores are entitled to receiving a bonus commission for selling the $2 million prize-winning tickets to Reyes and Crabtree. As per the lottery team, both Publix and MD Oriental Market will be receiving $5,000 each as a bonus commission for selling the lucky tickets.
The Florida Lottery officials had been anxious for the players to show up and claim their prize monies. It had been more than two months since the officials had been waiting for Reyes and Crabtree to make any contact.
The managers and staff from both the stores have also congratulated the players on their win. They stated that both players had been regular players of the lottery games and even the staff wished that someday would be their lucky day. The day has finally arrived for the players and now they can enjoy a luxurious and stress-free life.
