Two Winning Tickets worth $2.1 Million for Powerball Sold in Different Counties

The Pennsylvania Lottery is back with the details of two lucky prize-winning tickets that have been sold in two different counties in the PA. The PA Lottery is one of the most popular lotteries in the country as it has been providing people with opportunities of making money on top of their incomes.

With the release of the information of lottery players, the PA Lottery wants to create awareness among the lottery and potential lottery community. The majority of the people around the world think that lottery games are nothing more than scams and frauds.

They believe that even the players winning the huge prizes are actors hired by the lottery operators to fool people. It has been perceived that lotteries are a way of luring money and exploiting money out of them. If it was something illegal or a fraud, they would not be backed by 44 states in America or 10 states in India.

The lotteries played all across America and the rest of the world are present to raise funds for noble causes. The majority of the lottery operators have certain charity groups or NGOs they share the raised funds with.

This time to create awareness, the PA Lottery has shared the details of two particular Powerball tickets that have been sold in Monroe County and Delaware County respectively.

The first ticket sold in Monroe County was for the draw that was held on January 16, 2021. The lucky numbers that were drawn on January 16 were 14-20-39-65-67 and the red Powerball was 02. The ticket managed to match all five lucky numbers but did not match the red Powerball.

Initially, the prize won from the ticket was $1 million but as the ticket had a $1 multiplier added to it, the prize money was doubled.

After matching all five lucky numbers, the ticket has won a prize of $2 million and currently awaits for its rightful owner to show and claim it. The lucky ticket was sold at the Uni-Mart that is located at 3577 Route 611, Bartonsville (PA). The store will also be receiving a $10,000 bonus incentive for selling the lucky ticket.

The other lucky ticket for the Powerball Lottery ticket sold in Delaware County was for the draw held back on January 13, 2021. The lucky numbers drawn for the draw were 04-19-23-25-49 and the red Powerball was 14. The lucky ticket managed to match 4 out of the five lucky numbers and the red Powerball, for the $100,000 prize.

Initially, the prize won from the ticket was $50,000 but as it had a $1 Power Play option added to it, the prize amount got doubled.

The lucky ticket was sold at Wawa that is located at 1073 West Baltimore Pike, Media and has received a $500 bonus incentive for selling the lucky ticket.

The winners of both the prizes have 1 year time from the date of the draw to show up and claim their prize money.
